Following the resignation of Monica Yuhas as Trustee #1, the Pleasant Prairie Village Board took formal action during a meeting on Monday, March 3 to begin the search for candidates to appoint to the open position. The individual appointed would serve the remainder of the current term through April 20, 2015.
The Village Board asks interested individuals to submit the following to the Village Clerk by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014:
- a resume describing your education, work, and civic accomplishments,
- a completed application (available by calling 262.925.6721), and
- a letter detailing why you would like to be appointed to the position.
Interviews with prospective candidates will be scheduled during the week of March 10 through 14, and the Village Board will consider candidates for appointment at the March 17 meeting. The Office of the Village Clerk is located at 9915 39th Avenue in Pleasant Prairie.
