ONLINE UTILITY BILL PAYMENTS
An online payment option enables residents to view and pay your Pleasant Prairie utility bill online. This January, 966 residents used the online payment option to pay their bill. The feature enables residents to:
• view your utility bill online;
• opt out of receiving a paper bill in the mail;
• make a one-time online payment directly from your checking account; or
• set up recurring automatic payments directly from your account.
Village staff would like to thank all those who have started using this service and are helping the Village to “go green” and be more frugal. To try the online utility bill viewing and payment feature, click here. Then, follow the simple instructions you find there. Online payment options are also available for parking citations, court forfeitures (such as speeding tickets and zoning violations) and property taxes.
Staff would also like to thank those who have opted to receive their Village Newsletter via email only. More than 1,200 residents are now receiving the email newsletter, and 306 of those have opted to no longer receive a paper copy in the mail. If you aren’t already receiving your newsletter via email and would like to try it, click here and enter your email address in the box on the main page. Then, follow the simple instructions on your screen.
Once you’re comfortable receiving your newsletter this way, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, postal mailing address and the words “email only.” You’ll receive a confirmation email once your name has been removed from the paper mailing list. Thank you again for your help.
