Parks and Rec Input Sought
Back to News
Residents are invited to attend three open house style meetings to discuss ideas about the future of parks and recreation in Pleasant Prairie. The first two meetings will be held at the RecPlex Ice Arena (9900 Terwall Terrace) on July 20 and August 17. The September 7 meeting will be held in the Village Hall Auditorium (9915 39th Avenue). Each meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.
During the meetings, Village staff and consultants with the Public Research Group will be soliciting public input that will help guide the creation of 5-Year Master Plans for both the Parks and Recreation functions in the Village.
In addition to the public meetings, Public Research Group will be conducting a survey of a statistical sampling of area residents via U.S. Postal mail, telephone or email. The results of the survey will be used in conjunction with the feedback from the public meetings. If you are selected to participate in the survey, please consider offering a few minutes of your time to help guide the process. A final written report, including a formal action plan is expected to be completed later this year. Please contact Village staff at 262/947-0437 for more information.
