12/14/2006 | Village of Pleasant Prairie Places Third in Annual Snowplow Roadeo
Scott Brennan and Darren Perona competed, on behalf of the Village of Pleasant Prairie, against 70 other participating teams in a full day of written tests, pre-trip inspections and snowplow driving. The event was held on September 20, 2006 at Wisconsin’s own Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
“Living in Wisconsin, especially this time of year, it’s nice to know that we have Scott and Darren on the job. During the first snowfall of the year alone, we moved 17 inches of snow from approximately 120 miles of road here in Pleasant Prairie,” commented John Steinbrink Jr., Streets and Parks Superintendent for the Village. During the winter months with snowfall, the Village of Pleasant Prairie operates 15 plows, two front-end loaders, and three pick-up trucks to clear snow throughout the Village.
The Village extends its congratulations to Scott Brennan and Darren Perona for a job well done.
