08/16/2006 | Police Identify Man Killed In Occupational Accident
(Pleasant Prairie, WI) Pleasant Prairie Police have identified the victim of Tuesday’s occupational accident.

According to Police Spokesman Officer Pete Jung, JEREMIAH P. SANDERS (30) of Kenosha was killed after he was pulled into and through the chipper. SANDERS the owner of J’s Quality Tree Service became entangled in the chipper intake after using his foot to attempt to free a log that had gotten jammed. SANDERS’ co-workers attempted to stop the chipper, but were unsuccessful.

SANDERS was pronounced dead at the scene by the medical examiner. There is no foul play suspected and investigation into the accident is being conducted by OSHA.
