03/03/2006 | Police Announce Release of Sex Offender into Community The individual who appears on this notification has been convicted of a sex offense. Further his criminal history places him in a classification level which reflects the potential to re-offend. This offender is not wanted by the police at this time. This notification is not intended to increase fear; rather, it is our intention to inform the public of this offenders pending release. Sex offenders have always lived in our communities, but it wasn’t until Act 440 that law enforcement is now able to share this information with the community. Citizen abuse of this information to threaten, intimidate or harass registered sex offenders will not be tolerated. Name: JON G. KUBART JON G. KUBART will be released from prison on March 14, 2006 after completing his sentence for 3rd degree sexual assault and battery as a repeater in 2002. His prior history includes convictions for 3rd degree sexual assault and disorderly conduct in 1992. In both sexual assault convictions, Mr. KUBART targeted adult female relatives. He will be living at 5402 75th Street in Pleasant Prairie. He is to have no unsupervised contact with his victims or minors; he is not to possess or consume alcohol or drugs, or to be in any taverns, bars, or liquor stores. He will be required to register face to face with local law enforcement, and comply with standard sex offender rules from his parole agent. He will be on electronic and alcohol monitoring and is a lifetime registrant of the Wisconsin sex offender registration program. (Pleasant Prairie, WI) The Pleasant Prairie Police Department, in cooperation with the Sex Offender Registration Committee, is releasing the following information pursuant to Wisconsin State Statutes 301.46(2m) which authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public of a sex offender’s release when, in the discretion of the agency, the release of information will enhance public safety, awareness, and protection.
