10/13/2005 | Police Investigate Sexual Assault on Bike Trail The victim reported that she was walking home from a friends house in Kenosha on Thursday September 29 at around 7:30PM. She reported that she was walking alone and entered the bike trail off 89th Street just south of Tremper High School. She stated that halfway between 89th and 93rd Streets, she was approached by 2 male subjects. She reported they grabbed her by the arms, and dragged her off the bike trail into the bushes where she was sexually assaulted. She reported one of the men acted as a lookout on the bike trail, while the other assaulted her. A description of each suspect is as follows: Suspect #1: White male, approx 16 yrs old, wearing a dark blue short sleeve 3 button down Aeropostale shirt with green stripes, navy blue jeans, boxer shorts, med length brown scruffy hair, and short facial hair. Suspect #2: Black male, 17-18 yrs old, wearing white short sleeve t-shirt, dark blue baggy blue jeans, no facial hair, buzz cut hair cut, 2 inch scar on the right side of his face, right ear pieced and diamond earring. According to police, there was a significant delay in between the assault and when it was reported. “We are very interested in talking with anyone who may have information about this case” according to Pleasant Prairie Police Spokesman Peter Jung. In the mean time parents are reminded to always be aware of where their kids are, especially after dark. Police are currently working on a composite sketch of the suspects.
