06/19/2004 | Three Bodies Found Along Shoreline
(PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI) Pleasant Prairie Police were summoned to the Lake Michigan Shoreline at about the 10800 block at approximately 11:00 A.M. Saturday when an area resident observed what appeared to be three human bodies wash ashore there.

The bodies were that of an adult male and two preteen aged children. The three were tied together with a length of nylon rope. The fully clothed bodies appeared that they had been in the water for sometime, at least several days. The bodies were taken by the Kenosha County Medical Examiner and autopsies are expected to occur later today. They have not yet been identified. Further information including the gender of the two children is pending the results of the autopsy examinations.

Police are working with the U.S. Coast Guard and other authorities in an effort to locate reports of missing persons. Detectives continue to investigate.
