11/01/2004 | Train Strikes Pedestrian
On November 1, 2004 at approximately 2:25pm the Pleasant Prairie Police Department received 911 call reporting a collision involving a train verses a pedestrian. The incident occurred in the 9700 block of the Union Pacific tracks located east of Sheridan Road.

From the information gathered at the scene Detectives have determined that the collision appears to be non criminal at this time. Currently the Pleasant Prairie Police Detective Bureau is attempting to identify the victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time the only information available for release is that the victim is a white female approximately 5'6" 140-150 lbs, short brown or dirty blonde hair, wearing a 3/4 length dark green in color down coat.

The investigation of the incident is ongoing at this time.
