Animal Waste Double bag animal waste in plastic bags and place in regular garbage. Anti-Freeze See Residential Household Hazardous Waste collection. Appliances See Residential White Goods collection. Ashes Must be COLD prior to disposal. Double bag ashes using plastic bags. Place in regular garbage. Batteries VEHICLE BATTERIES (lead acid) are accepted at the Compost site (no charge). HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES can be placed in regular garbage. RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd), Nickel Metel Hydride (Ni-MH), Lithium Ion (Li-ion) and Small Sealed Lead (PB) weighing up to two pounds or one kilogram each (marked with the EPA certified recycling seal) can be recycled at the following locations: Village Hall, 9915 39th Avenue; Public Works, 8600 Green Bay Road; Fire Station 2, 8044 88th Avenue; RecPlex and IcePlex, 9900 Terwall Terrace. Brush & Branches Delivery to Pleasant Prairie Composite Site. Bulk Collection (large items) See Residential Bulk Waste Collection. Cell Phones Cell Phones with an EPA certified recycling seal can be recycled at the following locations: The Public Works counter in the Roger Prange Municipal Center at 8600 Green Bay Road; the counter inside Village Hall at 9915 39th Avenue; the Guest Services Desks at RecPlex or IcePlex at 9900 Terwall Terrace; and at Fire Station #2 at 8044 88th Avenue. Concrete Concrete is accepted at Pheasant Run Recycling and Disposal Facility located at 19414 60th Street, Bristol. Call 262-857-7956 for information. Fluorescent Bulbs See Residential Household Hazardous Waste Collection. Furniture See Residential Bulk Waste Collection. Holiday Tree Drop-off Holiday Tree drop-off sites will operate between December 26 and January 31. Household Chemicals See Residential Household Hazardous Waste Collection. Incandescent Light Bulbs Wrap light bulbs in newspaper or put in a plastic bag with regular garbage. Leaves See Residential Leaf Collection or use the Pleasant Prairie Composite Site. Needles/Sharps To dispose of needles/sharps, place them into a red "sharps" container, then take the container to a registered disposal site. The pharmacies and medical clinics listed below sell "sharps" containers for a small fee and accept them for disposal.

Recycling Calendars & Talking Trash Brochures Available, for no charge at Village Hall, 9915 - 39th Avenue. Stone Stone is accepted at Pheasant Run Recycling and Disposal Facility located at 19414 60th Street, Bristol. Call 262-857-7956 for information. Tires Tires can be disposed of at Kenosha Tire, 6005 75th Street. Please contact Kenosha tire prior to dropping off your tires at 694-9000. A per tire fee ranging from $2 to $12 will apply. Window Pane Glass & Mirrors Window pane glass and broken mirrors should be wrapped in newspaper and clearly marked as broken glass for Residential Solid Waste collection.
