Liquor LicensingLiquor and Beer Licenses are required by State Statutes Chapter 125. The licenses are issued yearly from July 1 to June 30. Fee Schedule:
State law requires that the application be received at least 15 days before it is submitted to the Village Board and that the Village publishes a notice of the application in the newspaper. The application is reviewed by the Police Department, Fire Department, Community Development Department and the Inspection Department. Approval is needed from all necessary departments prior to submitting to the Village Board for consideration. The Village Board meets on the first and third Monday of each month. If a license is approved by the Village Board, all fees and publication costs must be paid before a license is issued. In addition, no license shall be issued for operation on any premise upon which property taxes, personal property taxes, assessments, special assessments, utility payments, and/or invoices are delinquent or other financial claims of the Village are unpaid.
