Overview
Description
The Zoning Board of Appeals is a quasi-judicial board which hears and decides administrative appeals and applications for variances from the provisions of the Village Zoning Ordinance, reviews and considers temporary use permits and decides on variances to the Village Fire Protection Ordinance.

Regular Meetings
The Zoning Board of Appeals typically meets the third Tuesday of the month at 5:00 p.m. at the Village Hall Auditorium. The Zoning Board of Appeals agendas are published in the Kenosha News and posted at the following three public places in the Village:
- Pleasant Prairie Village Hall, 9915 39th Avenue
- LakeView RecPlex, 9900 Terwall Terrace
- Roger Prange Municipal Building (Police Station), 8600 Green Bay Road
The agenda is available at the auditorium door prior to the meeting. Items listed will be considered at the meeting. The public is invited to comment during the Citizen Comments portion of the meeting, at any public hearing listed on the agenda or if invited by the Zoning Board of Appeals Chairman. No sign-up sheet is required to speak at the meeting.
