Fee: Admission is free
Join us this summer for Prairie Family Days! Family Days offers fun for your whole family and will feature: a kickoff parade; the acrobatic comedian Circus Boy; pontoon boat rides; a craft fair; bingo; live music; food vendors; an open skate in the ice arena followed by a skating exhibition; raffle drawings; Made in Pleasant Prairie; and a nighttime fireworks display. Activities requiring advance registration include: a youth fishing derby; the Family Days 5K Walk/Run; the Princess Promenade (formerly known as the Princess Parade); and the Miss Pleasant Prairie scholarship pageant.
The live music lineup for 2012 includes Creason Studios’ Signature Strings, the Affordables, and Untrained Laymen. Food vendors will be on hand offering specialty menu items, such as funnel cakes, fried cheese curds, barbeque and more. Admission and several activities are free, though certain activities are fee based. A $5 parking fee will be charged inside the park after 4:00 p.m. Click here for more information.

The Danskin Triathlon Series - an exciting way to reinforce a healthy lifestyle while celebrating women! The Danskin/Pleasant Prairie event, one of eight races in this nationwide series, will be held on Sunday, August 26 at Prairie Springs Park. This first-timer friendly, women's only swim, bike and run event may be done on an individual or relay team basis. Participants can be 14 years and older. Let's redefine TRIumphant! Pilgrims’ Progress is a figure skating competition approved by U.S. Figure Skating and hosted by the Pleasant Prairie Skating School. Spectators are invited to watch the competition throughtout the day. Pilgrims' Progress offers events for figure skaters in the Snowplow Sam levels through Free Skate 6 and Limited Beginner through Preliminary for Free Skate Programs and Compulsories. Adult 1 - Adult Bronze level can compete with a Free Skate program. Limited Beginner through Preliminary can also compete in the Interpretive events. On November 10, the Village will hold a Veterans Day Ceremony to pay special tribute to America's service men and women. The ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial on the southeast side of Prairie Springs Park. You, your family and friends are invited to join us as we recognize the sacrifices and contributions made by our service men and women.
